Baby Snook

Just because I am on a roll and need to catch up on all my blogs, here is another one. I have been meaning to do all of these for a while now, but time always has a way of getting away from us.

Here are a few ultrasound pics of the new baby. Baby is due April 17. I am officially 32 weeks today, so we are in the homestretch now. It is getting very exciting. We are still not sure what baby is, boy or girl. There are some differing opinions. Abby is certain it is a little sister and Noah is adamant about it being a boy. We will have to see. I am very excited that we have not found out and will have the "birthday surprise." Look for that big post sometime toward the end of March, beginning of April. If you look close at the ultrasound picture and then scroll down to the pictures of the other kids, you can see that it is definitely a Snook baby. LOL. Same little nose and all. We have a pic of Daniel's ultrasound and the two babies look identical. You would think that Daniels was taken right in line with these ones here. So, we may not know what it is, boy or girl, but we definitely know what it will look like.

Side blog

Just a quick "side blog" if you can call it that. Since my last post about the tooth fairy, we have had 2 more visits from the tooth fairy. Jacob pulled out that final tooth all my himself and then our little Noah lost his very first tooth also. Man, the tooth fairy is going to go broke at our house. LOL.

Lolo Pass Visitors Center

The kids were out of school on Monday so we decided it would be fun to go see the "big" snow up in the mountains. We have been told about Lolo Pass and it is less than an hours drive from the house, so off we went. Abigail was very excited to go see the big mountain and to her delight saw many horses along the way.

It ended up being a very fun time. The drive up was very nice and the snow was great. In the parking lot we got a few pics of the kids with the snow taller than all of them. There are also some pics of the visitors center itself, with the snow just piled on. Behind the visitors center is a hill that is perfect for sledding, so with sleds in tow, we headed off.

Of course, Tyler and Jacob were able to find a "jump" on the hill and spent the rest of the time seeing who could jump the highest coming down the hill. Someone had dug out a snow cave, so we got a few pics of that with the boys stuffed inside. Also, someone had made a snow fort, so the kids had fun playing with that.

Overall, it was a very fun day. The kids had a great time and it was so fun for Jim and I to see the kids enjoying themselves. It is a beautiful area that we hope to get to again before our time is up here in Missoula. There were quiet a few cross-country skiers enjoying their time there also, giving us an idea of something new we would love to try out for our little family. It is so nice to be able to enjoy the wonderful things the Lord has given us here on this earth.

Here is a rare pic of myself, but it is with my little sunshine, so I could not help it.

Tooth Fairy visits 2 days in a row

I have been meaning to post this for a few days now, since it did happen last week and all.

Jacob has had 4 teeth, yes 4, getting progressively loose throughout the last few months. Finally, on Wednesday he came home from school and one of his eye teeth on the bottom was ready to come out. It took much coaxing, but he finally let me pull it out. After only one quick tug it was out and he was so happy to get a chance for the tooth fairy to come. Tyler has had quite a few visits from the tooth fairy this past year, so now Jacob was excited to have a turn.

Well, then Thursday came and we decided to visit Daddy at work, so off to the Community Center we went, with dinner for Daddy in hand. Of course, being cooped up in the house a lot lately due to very cold wheather makes a few boys a bit overzealous when it comes to wide open spaces. After being in the open area of the community center for just a few minutes, the kids started getting very hyper and decided to play a rousing game of tag or something of the like. (I don't really know because I was trying to let them run and get their energy out and talking with Jim).

After just a few minutes, Jacob started crying. Apparently he had been knocked down by one of the other brother's and hit his face on the ground. His 2 top front teeth have been loose for a while, but this sudden blow to the mouth knocked them even looser. When we got home, he was brave enough to let me pull these out also.

So, 2 visits in 2 days from the tooth fairy for a total of 3 teeth. Needless to say, Jacob was very excited to have the additional coins added to his piggy bank. He has visions of a Wii in his head (I am not sure he realizes he does not have that many teeth).

Here is a pic of our newly toothless child. He has become accostume to eating on the sides of his mouth and talking with a bit of a lisp. It is so very cute to see them at this toothless stage in life.
